1. I work a Mc Donald’s, yes what most people consider the worst job to have. But all I have to say to all those people are that I save time, money, bus fare and what do you save?
2. My middle name is Niroshini and no one calls me by that name.
3. I love to draw, dance and sing songs.
4. I desire to live in Ohio and live with my grandma. In Ohio I have a snobby cousin girl who is a cheer leader and a muscular guy cousin who is a foot ball player (living the American dream).
5. I got my menstruation, at the age of 10 and it was one of my worst times ever. I told one of my best friend and she told my other friend, but unfortunately for myself the girls washroom was right next to my classroom door and this boy named Geoffrey had to over hear. You thought that’s the worst part, right? Nope, still not there yet. He yelled this information across the classroom so everyone could hear and when I returned to school was I embarrassed.
6. I went to Florida, for two summers in a row. I love it there, its so gorgeous but just like everything there is always positive as well as negative aspect and that is there was a tornado alert which caused a lot of concern as well as a loss of a day out enjoying the state.
7. Weird, but my best friend is my aunt. She is my mentor, and I love her dearly.
8. My favourite show on television is Young and the Restless. it’s a soap and I got attached to it since I was in grade four.
9. I came to Canada when I was three and I think even freedom has a price to pay. Although we may have escaped from war and saved our lives. It almost feels like torture, when my mother has no sleep and works two jobs, barely hanging on to provide for us.
10. Although English is one of my favourite subjects, its ironic how I mange to screw things up so badly.
11. I can clearly understand Tamil, but when I attempt to speak the language, emphasis on the word attempt, although it may be at the tip of my tongue and I could hear the word, I have difficulty pronouncing some of the words. The reason could be that I came to Canada when I was three years, spoke Tamil extremely well and in grade one was told to learn better English.
12. My first that ever kissed me was my best friend and I was about five years old. I never meet him since beginning of grade one and ran into him a couple of weeks ago. I totally have a crush on him and I call him my long lost love.
13. I too was fooled into believing the word ‘gullible’ isn’t in the dictionary.
14. I believe men can be useless and a pain to deal with, which is also the reason I haven’t had a real boyfriend.
15. I love children, whether they are babies or maturing into adolescence, I love everything about them and hope to have a huge family one day.
16. I collect different kinds of coins from various countries and any coin I find interesting. I still have the two dollar bill that got depleted in Canada.
17. I adore the song Halo by Beyonce and love it even better when I hear rin on the rox sing her song on youtube.
18. I have seen Titanic, about one hundred times and I still love that movie.
19. I have my cartilage pierced, which makes it three piercing altogether.
20. I faint when I receive needles but yet I did coop in princess Margret hospital for nursing under the stem cell unit.
21. I got my licence G2 and my mom still picky about when I can drive, and with who I should go with to drive.
22. Florida, I love that place, I’ve been there twice in a row in the summer of 2008 and 2007.
23. I love to write, write and write.
24. The hardest part about writing is sharing personal stories, since writing in most way reflects personal experience and opinion.
25. I have a bad memory, its so difficult for me to memorize anything. I need to understand information for it to stay in my brain, which is why I sometimes struggle in school work.
